Many years ago I had heard about the Birkenstock Arizona and how wonderful they were so I stopped in at our local shoe store to try on a pair of these classic Birkenstock sandals for men and perhaps buy a pair because summer was here and I needed a pair of sandals to wear. I strapped on the sandals and I walked around on them and they felt really strange. My feet felt loose and I felt like I was walking around on semi soft boards!  The shoe salesman said it would take awhile to get used to wearing  them. They were not inexpensive so I decided to not to them. We have been selling Birkenstocks from our Birkenstock online store since 2004 and we sell alot of their classic styles. Well summer is here again and my wife was talking about ordering a pair of  Birkenstock sandals for summer and I thought I would give them another try so I ordered a pair too.  I had her  go ahead and place an order for a pair of the Birkenstock Arizona with Birkenstock soft foot beds. I have been walking around the house in them and I am getting use to wearing them. When you get the straps tightened right when you walk you feel  your feet are riding on top of the boards.
